4 years ago I wrote my first Carved issue about the why behind everyday things.
It was a great way to learn new things in the world of psychology and behavioural science, but over time my interests grew. Writing was always an outlet for me to express myself. Having defined what Carved was going to be so early on meant that anything not behavioural science related felt out of place.
I came across a post someone wrote about how your writing doesn't always need to be useful. It can be useless and beautiful. I'm not saying that what I'll write will be beautifulโit will most likely be useless.
So... a little re-introduction.
Today I'm trying to build something that will hopefully solve real problems for real people. I'm still figuring out what that means, here is a post where I dig into it a little deeper.
Navigating this transition period has been interesting, so I'll be writing a bit more about this in the next few months. Who knows where I'll be 6 months from now, or what I'll be working on. I hope everything will be documented here!
So I'll still be writing about everyday things. Things that happen in the day to day, things that maybe don't get talked about enough. Things I struggle with, things I enjoy, things I've learned, things that hopefully will resonate with others.
See you in my next post!
